Chateau Royale is an intimate French steakhouse and bar where old-world elegance meets downtown charm. The Bar Room on the ground floor hums with energy and conviviality, while the Dining Room above invites a more refined, indulgent pace — two moods united by martinis, Champagne, and a generous dose of joie de vivre.
The restaurant unfolds across two distinct rooms. Downstairs, The Bar Room is an intimate and romantic take on the classic tavern through the lens of old New York French dining; a little livelier, a little more spontaneous, and equally suited to martinis and oysters at the bar as it is to a full dinner. Reservations are available nightly for Dinner, as well as Friday Lunch. In keeping with The Bar Room's more convivial character, we kindly ask that meals conclude within 90 minutes, though guests joining us for drinks, snacks, or dessert are always welcome as walk-ins.
Upstairs, hidden away on the second floor, The Dining Room is Chateau Royale at its most glamorous. Romantic, lively, and never stuffy, it is home to our now-legendary Martini Cart. Reservations are available for Dinner Tuesday through Saturday, as well as Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. On Sundays and Mondays, we invite guests to join us downstairs in The Bar Room for Dinner.
For the summer, our $39 Royale Meal, featuring a Chateau Martini, Le Burger, and Frites, is available in both rooms throughout the evening.
